This is a Portfolio work day.  Students have the entire period to work on their final project.  When you have completed your budget ask for an unexpected event.  Read the event and decide how you will respond to it.  Write a description of the cost you will incur and how you will pay for them.  When you complete the unexpected event begin working on the evaluation found on the Final Project tab of the class website.

Objective:  Students calculate straight line and exponential depreciation for cars by writing equations and solving for the variables using their textbook examples and calculators for support.

Read pages 245 – 249 and 252 – 256 in the text, Sections 5-5 and 5-6, Automobile depreciation.  Write all definitions in your composition notebook.

Assignment: Pg. 250 #2,3,4 and Pg. 257 #2,3,4,9 and 15.
